As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit professional theatre, Flat Rock Playhouse annually raises funds to support ongoing, operating expenses of the theater. Unrestricted gifts allow the arts to thrive by underwriting production, maintenance, and administrative expenses as well as ensuring that Flat Rock Playhouse can continue to offer high-quality, hand-crafted, unique arts encounters for our community.

Ticket sales only cover a portion of our production expenses, and, as a donor to our annual fund, you make it possible for the show to go on. Unrestricted gifts to our annual fund are 100% tax-deductible.

- Producing our exciting hand-crafted seasons (from production materials to sales) (from production materials to sales), 

- Maintaining the beautiful Flat Rock Playhouse grounds and historic buildings,
